Three brands - one ideal location

Located in the heart of Downtown Farmington, Merle Norman Cosmetics has been a staple of the community for over 50 years. Over time, Merle Norman Cosmetics expanded to develop a space for Rebecca's Wigs, and also secured additional store frontage to accommodate a hair salon and day spa. Originally called "The Spa at Merle Norman" our current owner changed the name of the salon & spa to Bijou and incorporated advanced training for the entire staff to evolve our little corner of Farmington into a complete Trichology Center that specializes in hair loss of all types.

Melissa Youngs Owner/ CEO

Melissa is passionate about making sure that no matter what anyone is going through, when they walk through our door they enter a peaceful oasis, and an atmosphere that is teeming with positive energy, compassion, and fun. She understands that having happy, satisfied clients is grounded in delivering high quality and results driven products and services, and she is committed to achieving this by ensuring our team consists of passionate, knowledgeable professionals who focus on excellence and highly personalized service. Education is key - and ongoing, specialized training is always part of our growth.

Melissa is a Certified Trichologist and Cranial Prosthesis Specialist, as well as a Master Permanent make-up artist and trainer, and she enjoys the life changing benefits she can bring to her clients through her craft.

She is a lifelong entrepreneur, world traveler, and adventure seeker; but these days she finds that simple pleasures provide profound contentment. When not working you can typically find her with a cup of tea and a good book, enjoying the company of her three pekingese.

Ty Smith COO/CFO

Ty has an entrepreneurial background and oversees all financial and day to day operations of the businesses as well as all hiring and human relations. She is instrumental in planning education, growth, and expansion for the company. She makes sure we are staying on the cutting edge of new advancements and product offerings in our indu of excellence on all fronts. She has strong ties to the community and makes it a priority that we provide a safe space that is welcoming, and inclusive.

Ty has a zest for life and she enjoys travelling often, as well as spending time with her family in Canada, and she is an avid dancer who line dances weekly. stry, and she is passionate about making sure we maintain the highest standards

Susan Hall Manager

Susan is the manager of Rebecca's Wigs and she is definitely someone you want in your corner! In the wig studio she sees clients of all ages and walks of life who are experiencing hair loss of some kind. Susan works tirelessly to ensure that every client receives exceptional service, and has access to the best wigs and alternative hair products available anywhere. She is adamant about teaching proper wig and topper care, and educating clients about the differences in each product line so that they are confident in making the best purchases for them. She wants staff members to treat every client as if they were their sister, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Susan has been in the beauty industry for 13 years, and is a Merle Norman certified make-up specialist. She also has certifications in Medical wig prosthetics as well as several other wig related specialties. Weather it's with a total makeover, or just the right alternative hair solution, Susan enjoys the confidence she sees blossom when someone feels good about how they look.

To unwind Susan loves gardening or floating in her pool, and she is a fine dining enthusiast who enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Zoe West - Salon & Spa Manager

Zoe is a Licensed Cosmetologist, Certified Trichologist, and scalp health practitioner. She has been helping people with their hair and scalp for over 15 years. Her services include blonding, color correction, long hair styling, men's haircuts, Lived in Color, curly cuts, wig installations, and wig cuts & styling. She is certified in Brazilian Blowout, Keratin Therapy, High Fashion Color, American Wave, and Japanese Head Spa Treatments.

When you book a service with Zoe, you can expect a relaxing, transformative experience along with a dash of education. She enjoys learning about her clients, and from them, and helping them love what they see in the mirror! She is passionate about ongoing education, and is constantly researching new trends in products and services.

When she is doing a corrective service, the inevitable tears of joy that flow when she turns the chair around to reveal a beautiful crown the client never thought possible - that is what inspires her!

She is our resident fashionista and shoe aficionado, and her bright smile and eagerness to help in any way she can make Zoe a cherished member of our team in every area.

Being a Mom to two sons involved in sports keeps her busy, but she wouldn't have it any other way; she loves spending time (especially outdoors) with her family and furbabies!

Annicka Moran Asst. Manager

Annicka is a licensed Esthetician, licensed cosmetologist, Certified Trichologist, and scalp health practitioner. She holds certifications in many specialties including Japanese head spa treatments, scalp facials, Oncology facials, and teeth whitening. Her services include Waxing, Lash extensions, lash lift & tints, and many specialty facials. She also enjoys styling wigs and toppers, and spending time in the wig studio.

She is constantly researching new and effective products and services to accommodate our most sensitive and vulnerable clients, especially those undergoing medical treatments. She prefers natural and organic ingredients for all of her clients, but she works hard to make sure cancer patients and clients with compromised immunity can also enjoy relaxing and rejuvenating treatments that make them feel refreshed, hydrated, and beautiful. Her signature oncology facial is a godsend to those with very sensitive or compromised skin.

Annicka encourages everyone to prioritize self care, and her clients are extremely loyal to her. She loves the outdoors, enjoys rollerblading, and she's an art enthusiast.

Maggie Lakatos

Maggie is a certified custom wig maker and makeup consultant, and she is proficient at wig and topper repairs and alterations. She is a perfectionist, and puts her undivided attention, skill, and passion into everything she does. She considers this the most fulfilling - and important - job she's ever had. Maggie loves hearing people's stories, and considers it a personal challenge to make sure that she can improve their lives with her services.

When clients are so happy they give her a big hug or shed a tear of joy it fills her with gratitude. Being able to provide kindness, support, and real solutions to our clients is everything, and something many people struggling with hair loss have not experienced until they find us.

Maggie is often the first smiling face you see when you walk through our front door, and her warmth and kindness make people feel instantly at ease.

She loves to relax and unwind anywhere near water, and she enjoys spending time on the lake with family and friends.

Beth Gentile manager

Beth is a Wig expert and makeup consultant who makes a lasting impression on everyone she meets. She has a heart of gold that radiates throughout everything she does. Clients rave about her kindness and commitment to helping them throughout their hair loss journey and beyond. She never loses sight of the important role we play in improving people's lives, and her indefatigable energy and determination are evident to clients and colleagues alike.

With 5 young grandchildren who have captured her heart she is taking this time in her life to enjoy them as much as possible, but she makes herself available to anyone in need, and she's the first to volunteer to go above and beyond at work - often taking on tasks that no one else wants - always with a big smile on her face and a warm & compassionate disposition.

Beth loves to travel, she is a skilled DIYer and party host, and she cherishes her time with her family and fur babies.

Nancy Fish

Nancy has been using Merle Norman Cosmetics since she was 16 years old, and she has been a skincare expert for 25 years. Ten years ago she started working as a consultant for Rebecca's Wigs, and she instantly fell in love with the meaningful and intimate process of helping and guiding women on their hair loss journey.

Today she is one of our most knowledgeable Wig specialists, and clients rave about her warm and caring personality, as well as her honest and compassionate approach to guiding women through their hair selection process. We often hear comments like "Nancy listened vey carefully to ALL of my questions and concerns, and she made me feel so confident and satisfied that I made the right selection."

Nancy's greatest sense of accomplishment comes when a new client walks in for the first time feeling nervous and unsure, but leaves with a big smile on their face and a big hug for the angel who made them feel beautiful! She wants all of our clients to know that at Rebecca's Wigs we are here for you through your entire journey, only a phone call away!

Nancy is a golfer and she enjoys boating and pickleball. She loves long walks with her dog Packer, and she spends as much time as she can with her family!

Maryam Maktari

Maryam is a Licensed Esthetician and skin care specialist, wig consultant and makeup consultant. She's also our social media and PR coordinator and she works in all three of our sister businesses. Her welcoming smile and warm personality are a comforting presence wherever she goes!

She loves doing facials that focus on enhancing your natural beauty, and she prides herself in providing a personalized and relaxing experience for her clients. Her favorite part of her job is meeting new people and helping them feel confident and comfortable in their skin.

Maryam is always willing to lend a helping hand, no matter what the task is, and her friendliness and adaptability are noticed by clients and staff alike. making her a treasured asset to our team.

Maryam is a basketball coach and loves spending time with her dogs, and her family!
